Poets of the World Launches Global Call for Video Poems

Poets of the World invites poets from all continents to participate in a new international call for poetic creation and audiovisual expression.

In a time marked by deep human crises and global conflicts, this initiative seeks to gather voices that, through poetry, express awareness, solidarity, and hope. Through short video poems, participants are encouraged to share their vision of the world and contribute to a global network of committed poetry.

The proposed themes for this call include: peace, humanity, global consciousness, the suffering of peoples, childhood in times of war, and the awakening of the world.

Videos must be recorded in vertical format, with a duration of 10 to 30 seconds, and can be filmed using a mobile phone. It is recommended to keep the device steady during recording to ensure better visual quality.

All submitted materials will be edited and published through Poets of the World channels, always giving proper credit to each author.

This call represents a new opportunity for poetry to transcend borders and become a living act of expression, memory, and resistance.
