Marina Aristo Markovic
born in Nis, (Serbia) writes children’s books, aphorisms, poems and stories.  On the International writer competition in Italy received an award for an educational and artistic value of the work “A grasshopper in the head”. She also wrote a play for children's theater, based on this story, under the same name. In her free time she writes aphorisms and satirical stories. One of her satirical stories is published in the famous magazine for satire and humor in Turkey “Bayan Yani”

THERE WHERE I WANT
If I would be able to choose time,
now
I would choose now.
Now It's not early nor it's late.
Now is the right time.
And right now I am
at the right time
but in the wrong place.
If I would be able to choose a place,
I would choose
to be here and there.
To be there where I want,
with the one
who wants to be here with me.

ALL AND EVERYTHING
I can be
morning joy,
daylight,
evening peace.
I can be
deepest thought,
the most beautiful word,
the best story.
I can be
the spark,
live fire,
the flame river.
I can be,
restless ocean,
calm sea,
or drops of water
which fill up
the life line
on your palm.
I can be yours all.
I can be everything.
Yours is only to keep me safe.

ENOUGH
It's now
here, and there,
but I would love,
that you are here now,
or
that I am now there,
at this moment,
a few moments...
Enough time for embrace.

IT IS BELIEVABLE
Do not think it's unbelievable
that a drunk driver kills you
as you cross the street on a pedestrian,
or that you have a heart attack
while buying newspapers,
or to be killed by the brick of your own hell
you are building for years.
Only those things
that are beyond your control
make you unbelievable.
Man,
do not think it's unbelievable
that you met her incredible,
in a crowded place with people
who are able to do
incredible things,
at a time in which
incredible events occur to people.
It will be unbelievable only
if you are silent.
It will be unbelievable
only if you are silent to her
how incredible she is to you.
It will only be unbelievable
if you let her go without a word.
And all this
just because you think
it's incredible that it just happens to you,
man.
It is believable.
