the day has come with its nocturnal calligraphy of things
to die becomes a sentence, which continues you
your outstretching hands are passing through words
just for an instant leaning against an adjective wall
you dream about the girl with her white T-shirt
in front of the tobacconist's
with gestures sewn
into myrtle and ink
a grace resembling a number

biografia:
Constantin Severin [pen-name; the name: Constantin Lazarovici] was born on the 8th of February 1952 in Baia de Arama, Romania.
He is a Romanian writer, member of the Romanian Writers' Union, represented by Bodtker Yuniku Literary Agency, Oslo, and a visual artist, member of the International Art Group ''3rd Paradigm''. He made his debut as a poet in 1980 in three Romanian literary magazines in the same week, ''Ateneu'', ''Familia''and ''Tribuna''.
From 1977 to 1991 he worked as a diplomat engineer and from 1991 to 2004 he was a journalist for different Romanian publications, but also for BBC and Free Europe radio. Currently Constantin Severin works at the County's Library of Bucovina, Suceava, Romania.
He is the theorist of two new concepts, archetypal expressionism and post -literature, in essays published on the site of the well known Saatchi Gallery, London. The first essay concerns contemporary art, the latter philosophy of culture.
