Two old rascals... ha?

When I feel young
You hurriedly make me old

I intensively act young.
Here we are:
Two imperfect liars.
Admitting:
You lie, I lie:
When I need my youth
You make me employ
efforts to recollect
when and where I lost it
When I find it
I pretend I remember
why I have been looking for it.
Two old forgers
finally caught:
Confessing:
When I feel strong
You grin at me
and hurriedly prove me weak
When I feel vulnerable
I laugh my pain off
and play resistant
Here we are:
Two old wrestlers:
Panting:
This fight is finally over:

Maja Stela Bosilkovska

Born in Zemun, Serbia, to a Vojvodian mother. Graduated from Belgrade University, Dept. English language and Literature.
Lives and works in Bitola, Macedonia as a university English language instructor.
Two books of poetry published in 2005 and in 2006, each containing several poems written in English [three of them enclosed here] and one novel published in 2007.
Translator, interpreter, and amateur sculptor [wood and pebbles].
