Chao Tien-yi / 趙天儀
Chao Tien-yi（b. 1935）, a retired professor from Department of Taiwanese Literature at Providence University, has been the Dean of Liberal Arts College. He is a senior poet, critic and children literature expert. He has published more than ten volumes of poetry including “Visiting Fruit Ranch”（果園的造訪）and others. He also won a number of literary awards.
小草
只要有一撮泥土
我就萌芽
只要有一滴露珠
我就微笑
當陽光強烈地照耀
我抬頭挺胸
當狂風暴雨猛烈地沖擊
我昂然而青翠

Hierba
Basta con un puñado de tierra,
broto.
Basta con una gota de rocío,
sonrío.

Little Grass
With a handful of soil,
