It was while contemplating the crepuscule at Tamsui that I began writing poems. I believe that human senses and consciousness are both born from poems. Most importantly, I believe that poems are precisely where human senses and consciousness are put into practice. Furthermore, I believe that life’s happenings are also based on such human senses and consciousness as found in poems. It is, however, thanks to my seniors that I was accepted as a member of the Association of Taiwan Modern Poetry. To this day, my production of poetry has never been halted and I certainly will continue to indeterminately compose poems.
