Bimal Guha

Bimal Guha is one of the leading poets of Bangladesh. He  appeared on the literary scene of Bangladesh  after liberation war  of  1971. He   was one  of  those  who  helped  transform  Bangladesh  poetry  into  a  newer consciousness.  Born  on  27  October  1952,  he  had  his  PhD  in  modern Bengali poetry  from  the  University  of  Dhaka.  He  has  23  books to  his credit including 14 books of poems.
