Marcela Villar M 

Born in Chile; she emigrated to the United States of America in 1989. Studied Language and Literature and has contributed to the formation of literary groups and workshops. Villar has devoted her life to guard the right for freedom and justice for the poor and underprivileged, not only in her native country, but in the global community. An award winning poet, she travels extensively attending literary conferences at universities and other institutions.

Playfully

They dance

In their misty feat

Of skin and shadows

Wanting to recover it

All

In a single breath

Hungry

They dance

Leaving traces

On the selfish beams

Who think about war

Always

Leaving me tired

From their insensitive

Madness
