Ayo Ayoola-Amale is an Attorney, Peace Architect, and internationally acclaimed Poet serving as the Vice President of Poetas del Mundo. A visionary leader in the global literary and social justice landscapes, she serves on the International Advisory Board for Generation Hip Hop Global (GHHG), steering a movement of over 10 million members toward creative and economic sovereignty. Her work is a sanctuary for human rights, championing peace as a fundamental entitlement. As an Artistic Activist, Ayo navigates the intersections of law and creativity to drive conflict transformation and systemic social change. She is the founder of the Splendors of Dawn Poetry Foundation and has led major international initiatives, including serving as the Ghana organizer for 100 thousand Poets for Change. Her activism—from the "Canvas for Peace" exhibitions to her global advocacy against disarmament—remains a steadfast confrontation of violence, racism, and inequality.
A prolific author of over six volumes of poetry and children’s literature—including The Suns Came for Us, Where the World Sings, and The Weight of the Rat’s Nest—Ayo has been a guest at prestigious festivals across Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Translated into major international languages, her verses remain committed to healing the human community and developing new thinking for a more harmonious world.
