Biography
Kali Baral is a young Bangladeshi poet born in 1994 in Barguna District, Bangladesh, into a culturally enriched family. From an early age, she showed a deep passion for literature and creativity, gradually establishing herself as a distinctive voice in contemporary Bengali poetry.
She completed her MBA in Finance and Banking, balancing academic excellence with her growing literary career. Alongside poetry, she writes regularly for national and international newspapers and magazines, contributing to the evolving landscape of modern Bengali literature.
To date, she has published seven books across genres including poetry, fiction, and children’s literature. Her works are available on various online platforms in Bangladesh.
In 2025, she received the 8th Boao International Poetry Award and was recognized as the Young Poet of the Year 2025.
