Biography
Tarana Turan Rahimli is an Azerbaijani poet, writer, translator, journalist, literary critic, and academic. She holds a Doctorate in Philological Sciences and the rank of Associate Professor. She is the author of nine books and more than 500 articles, and has also served as editor and reviewer of numerous monographs and poetry collections. Her literary work has been translated into 35 languages and published in more than 45 countries across both the Eastern and Western worlds.
She has pursued a distinguished academic career at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Baku State University, where she lectured on Azerbaijani literature, Turkish literature, comparative literature, and world literature. She is an active member of several international literary organizations and the founder of important literary circles and initiatives.

Doctora en Ciencias Filológicas y profesora asociada, es autora de 9 libros y de más de 500 artículos, además de editora y revisora de numerosas monografías y obras poéticas. Su producción literaria ha sido traducida a 35 idiomas y publicada en más de 45 países de Oriente y Occidente.
Ha desarrollado una extensa carrera académica en la Universidad Pedagógica Estatal de Azerbaiyán y en la Universidad Estatal de Bakú, donde impartió cátedras sobre literatura azerbaiyana, turca, comparada y mundial. Es miembro activo de diversas organizaciones literarias internacionales y fundadora de importantes colectivos poéticos.
Su obra poética, ensayística y crítica ha sido ampliamente difundida en revistas, antologías y medios internacionales, y ha participado en numerosos congresos y festivales literarios. Ha recibido más de 50 premios internacionales y centenares de reconocimientos honoríficos por su contribución a la literatura y al diálogo cultural entre los pueblos.
