Biography
Sosonjan A. Khan, known by the pen name Sutera Kalbu, is the Chairman of Akademi Panggung Seri Utama (APSUE) in Brunei Darussalam and has more than 35 years of literary experience. She writes poetry, short stories, and novels, and is also a playwright, theater director, and composer of pop and nasyid songs.
She has authored over 585 poems and 575 short stories, with her works published and translated in more than 165 countries and into multiple languages. She has contributed to over 150 international anthologies and published poetry books in various languages, as well as a children’s book.
Her work has been featured in national and international media, and she has received numerous literary awards in Brunei and regionally, including major recognitions in poetry, short story, and novel writing through 2024.
