THE BAR

at the end of the day
disco musc and hurry prepared coffe
clouds of smoke
confuse the overloaded memory
old things, deformed images
and just in front of you a dim-eyed girl
drags her brandy closer
her hair like a mask protects her and makes me
shake my shoulders with wonder

THE FLAME OF LAMP

your hair
a bunch of dark locks
on which the darkness walks

soon
the four walls
of time will fall

the image of death
has petrified in the flame of lamp...

IT'S RAINING IN THE GREY TOWN

It's raining in the grey town, george bacovia, a cry
of an aged widow; the leaves are falling and
I'm afraid of death or better said of your
dreadful sad name george bacovia george bacovia

It's raining in the night with a hard breathing
of a stabbed with its open eyes
showing the image of hell it always rains with a big waste
with flames dancing over tombs

It's raining in the grey town, george bacovia, the poster
on the wall has muddy words...
but the guard is making his round
greeting us politely: ave caesar, ave caesar

FAREWELL

there is love, but woman, suffer
and death
there is no light, but the sun reflects
there is journey, forgetness
a mouth having another
the waiting like a breeze through the cherry trees
there is no wood but a crazy flame
scream and restraint
there is no tooth, but the aim of tearing
revange and fright
the forbidden fruit that no one bites
an open book like a pigeon in its
fly
yes, these streched fingers always show the heart
yes, these numbres belong to a nostalgic maths
yes, the crime of betraying your fellow will never be
forgiven
there is no betrayal, but a sunny market
and a pigeon picking up some crumbs
there is no chair, but sitting or unsitting
I'm sayng farewell to the things that clear in the dark
I'm saying farewell to the song of water and to the surface of water
I'm saying farewell to the pack of clouds that roar
from ski to earth
I'm saying farewell to the tram that colours its wheels
with my blood
in the morning
